Blue Smoke Flatiron is hosting a cookbook dinner party for Southern food authority and James Beard Foundation Award-winning cookbook author, Virginia Willis. Chef Willis and Blue Smoke’s Chef Jean-Paul Bourgeois will be cooking and interpreting recipes from her new cookbook, ‘Secrets of the Southern Table’.

What's on the menu: 

Shrimp Burger Sliders • Smashed Fried Okra • Baby Back Ribs • Brisket • Alabama White Wings • Housemade Biscuits • Beignets • Chocolate Pudding with Bourbon Cream and Benne Seed Cookies 

$80 per person Includes food, drink, tax, tip and a copy of Secrets of the Southern Table.

Butcher & Bee Collaborative Dinner 
Blue Smoke Flatiron
June 6 at 7pm

Chef Jean-Paul Bourgeois will be joined by Butcher & Bee’s Chef Bryan Weaver for a night of Southern revelry and a four-course collaborative menu featuring ingredients from their favorite purveyors like Onliest Oyster, Anson Mills, and Poiriers Cane Syrup. 

You can expect a 4-course meal with riffs on Butcher & Bee’s popular mezze plates, grilled and smoked prime, dry-aged beef, corn custard and ice cream.
